Boy's T-Ball play 2 in Nevada
The boy's T-Ball squads took on 2 Nevada teams on a miserably hot and sticky night in Nevada Tuesday. Hitting was in great form for the Nesco T-Ballers as almost all on both Nesco teams hit the ball off a coach pitched at-bat instead of just of the Tee. There has been a vast improvement from the beginning of the year in hitting the ball off the coach which is the ultimate goal of the T-Ball league, to get the kids an understanding of the game and prepare them to hit in the Pee-wee level where they will face an opposing pitcher who is trying to get them out. Defensively the Royals made several nice plays and are showing an understanding of where to go with the ball and when. Garret Tiarks made a nice unassisted double play on a catch at his shoestrings on a ball hit to Right-center and then running to second to double off the runner. The T-Ballers play 2 again Thursday night in Zearing.
